Ms. Ira Gupta is a Clinical Psychologist with over 5 years of experience who offers therapeutic counseling services to assist individuals and families in addressing many of life's challenges. She completed her graduation and post-graduation from University of Delhi and received professional training (M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology) from Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi. She is a registered practitioner with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and has previously been associated with Manas Foundation and Cosmos Institute of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences (CIMBS). At present, she also works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the Child Guidance Centre (CGC) at National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD). She is also an active member of Indian Association of Clinical Psychology (IACP).
Since the beginning, she had a keen interest in working with children and has been extensively working in providing her services to aid and promote their wellbeing. Keeping in mind to serve the child & Adolescents population she joined her hand to team UDGAM- A Mental Health Care & Rehabilitation Centre, Delhi as a co-founder. She is proficient in Assessment of IQ and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disability and other Behavioral and Emotional Difficulties in children and specializes in providing psychological therapies such as Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Relaxation Therapy, Family Therapy and Parent training. She has counseled individuals and families for over 5 years in various healthcare systems and counseling agencies.
